The luxury resort Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas is located on a private peninsula on Anse Louis, a 25-minute drive from the capital Victoria on the southwest coast of the main island of Mahé. The facility is idyllically embedded between the tropical hill foothills of the hinterland and the white sandy beach with the granite rocks typical of the country.
The opening under the new management of the renowned luxury chain Anantara is currently planned for mid-November 2020.
Rooms & suites
The 30 private villas (250 m²) offer a private veranda with a private pool and sea views. The rooms are elegantly furnished in a Far Eastern style with a gazebo, a spacious day bed, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a kitchen with a bar as well as the latest technology and free WiFi. Highlights are the luxurious bathroom with indoor shower as well as the outdoor bathroom and a private butler who is available to guests around the clock. The complex consists of three Ocean View Villas, eight Ocean Front View Villas, eleven Ocean Panoramic Villas and eight Maia Signature Villas, which differ only in their location.
There are 30 villas with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. All villas have an infinity pool, a day bed and sun loungers as well as a 24-hour butler service. The villas were furnished and designed with high-quality fine wood furniture and warm earth tones

The hotel's own gourmet restaurant spoils culinary delights with Mediterranean and Asian-Creole dishes, while the bar offers fruity cocktails and refreshing drinks. In-villa dining or a romantic dinner on the beach or on the helicopter landing pad are available. An exclusive wine cellar rounds off the offer.
In the gourmet restaurant "Tec Tec", head chef Oskar Torres provides exceptional culinary delights with Mediterranean dishes with an Asian-Creole accent. The pool bar also serves light snacks. Hotel guests also have the opportunity to have a private romantic dinner on the hotel's own beach or in their villa.
MAIA offers you BEYOND all-inclusive regardless of the seating. Your culinary wishes will be fulfilled according to the principle "Whatever, Wherever, Whenever". You have the choice between seafood, Creole, Asian, Indian and Oriental cuisine. Fine alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are also included.
During the day, for example, you will find light snacks and delicious cocktails in a cozy atmosphere at the Sunset Pool Bar. At lunchtime and in the evening, one of the 5 chefs will provide you with international dishes. A spacious pool area with sun decks is available to hotel guests. Sports fans can go kayaking and canoeing or explore the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The resort offers limousine service to and from Mahé Airport. Guests have the opportunity to take individually designed excursions to other islands by boat or helicopter. The “VIK” (“Very Important Kids”) children's program includes a range of different entertainment options for the little guests of the resort, including: building sandcastles, supervised swimming lessons with water toys, snorkeling in the pool, and painting and dyeing lessons. Treasure hunts, group canoeing trips, volleyball and movies are also offered for teenagers. The personal butler is also happy to assist guests with childcare.
